Meet Reverend Ray Alonzo
Officiant Reverend Ray Alonzo has had a passion for uniting couples in love for over 20 years. His experience in performing hundreds of weddings, vow renewals, and rehearsals has led him to be voted Top Wedding Officiant for Orlando’s Best Of Weddings. Rev. Ray is a retired Pastor from Louisiana that was originally ordained by Covenant Church, located in Destrehan, Louisiana, where he and his wife pastored a ministry within the church called “Second Time Around”. Their ministry catered to divorce recovery, stepfamily issues, which led to him performing many vow renewals, and wedding ceremonies over the years. Through extensive course studies, he diligently studied the principles of God’s word to discover the secrets of having a successful marriage. Rev. Ray and his family relocated to Florida in 2006 where he retired from pastoring and discovered his new passion and purpose in life, performing wedding ceremonies for all couples, which lead him to create his own brand and style of wedding ceremonies called “Ceremonies by Ray ”.
Officiant Ray is a certified Notary Public of the State of Florida in which he performs an array of both civil and religious ceremonies for traditional and same sex couples. Ray’s unique experiences in public speaking makes him a great fit for couples looking for an experienced officiant to deliver an eloquent and heartfelt ceremony on their special day. His calm and upbeat demeanor settles the nerves of the most anxious of couples on what is the most important day of their lives. Officiant Ray will help you navigate through all the ins and outs of obtaining your Florida Marriage License. Officiant Ray will authorize your marriage license on the day of, and even mail it for you if you desire so that you can enjoy your celebration carefree.

I genuinely cannot recommend Ray enough. From start to finish he was amazing and made our wedding so personal and special. I was very worried about arranging our wedding from the UK and we didn’t have a rehearsal either which made me worry in the build up to the wedding. However on the day it was perfect and Ray is a lovely man and he was the perfect man for the job. My family all commented on how nice he was and were surprised at how personal it was. We can’t thank you enough Ray. If we choose to renew our vows we would definitely be requesting Ray. Our marriage certificate got home to the UK before we did very prompt, fast service.

Fun, fun ,fun was the Hawaiian Luau style party for wedding vendors at Margaritaville last night.
Big thanks to Georgia for hosting another great “I Said Yes” Event, and Kelsey Johnson as the mastermind coordinator behind all the design and planning.
It was nice see other vendors I haven’t seen in a while.
It’s mind boggling how many events happen in our city that we can go a year or so without running into one another.
I want to thank our amazing team of artists for showing their support, nearly half the team came out on short notice, as with our crazy schedules somehow we recently found out about it.😜
